SK Sri Kelana
This was the first Social Engagement activity that our group carried out
. We had conducted a fitness test for the primary school students with special
need . As we all know , children with special needs may have mild learning
disabilities or profound cognitive impairment and so on . Before going to the
activity , I am so worried . I had never
interact with special children . I had no idea about how to communicate with
them . However , after I had took part in this activity , I found that they
were same as other children . They like to play , like to talk with others and
they are also a naughty child . The only
things that different from others was I need to be more patient when taking
care and communicate with them . Even though , I had faced some difficulties when
take care of them but I think it is good for me to learn how to take care of
them and to know them deeply.

SMK Kelana Jaya
We had our 2nd social engagement activity at SMK Kelana Jaya
. The activity we conducted here same as what had we done for our 1st
social engagement activity last week . We conducted the fitness test for the
secondary school student with special need . With the experience that I had
last week , I can communicate with the students here more easily . Other than
conduct the fitness test for them , I also have a chat with them to understand
them more . Besides , I am so happy when saw then take care of each other just
like a big family even though they are all from different races . I am so happy that I got the opportunity to
know them and to be one of their friends.

Car Free Day
Petaling Jaya (MBPJ)
‘PJ Car Free Day’ event
was held to promote a strategic sustainable city . By minimizing the volume of
cars on the road , we can slowly minimize carbon footprint in our country ,
even if it takes just one step at a time .
I had become a volunteer in conducting one of the activities on that day . The activity
that I took part in was conducting a “Snake Game” for those who coming for the event . From this
activity I had learn how to in charge an activity with others and how to
communicate well with others .
Activity 4

SK Sam Yoke
8 April , today was the 4th
social engagement activity I have since 26 Feb . Today , same as the first two
activity , our group was conducted the fitness test for special children who study
at SK Sam Yoke . At first , I think it is not a problem for me to interact with
them as I had experience before . But , in reality , I am wrong . I faced a lot
of difficulties when conducting the test . In order to complete the test , the
teachers there had help ua a lot .They help us in managing the students and
also teach me how to interact with them . They told me the personality of the
students in order to lets me to be more understand about them . This was very
important for me to communicate well with the students . From today activity, I
found that it is quite important for us to know the people with special need
better because they are also one part of our society that need our concern .
Activity 5

SK Sri Kelana
SK Sri Kelana was the 1st place we choose to
have our social engagement activity with special child. I am so glad when I
found that they still remember me when I coming here again for my last social
engagement activity after a few month . Today , we not going to has the fitness
test like what had we done before . However , we was planned to have some indoor
and outdoor activities with the special child there . All the game we planned contain
certain moral value that we want to pass to them such as they need to corporate
with each others to complete the task . Besides , in conjunction with
celebration of mother day , we had conducted
an activities that lets them to
do a card for their mother as a gift .
As a conclusion , I think that this course is very
meaningful for us as a university student and also part of the society . Involve in this activity make me to have an
better understanding with the special children . Besides this also make me to
be more patient when communicating with them and taking care of them . Before
this, I refuse to interact with the special children because I have no idea how
to interact with them. For me , they all are different from us . I don’t
understand what they think , what they want and what they want to taking
about . However , after take part in
this social engagement activities, I can be one of their friend , I can
understand what they want and think . In my opinion , understand each other is
a very significant for us as we are all one part of the society .
